LMS is growing in all markets and sectors that we serve - BC, Alberta and California. We are hiring experienced and inexperienced installers, men and women alike, who are hard-working and interested in building a long-term career with LMS. We believe in investing in our team members for the long-term.
Commitment to Training
Our ability to deliver our product and service is anchored in the capability of our people. LMS has worked hard to build the commitment of our personnel through training and providing long-term growth opportunities. We have also been creative in addressing labour shortage and have worked with industry associations and educational institutions to enhance the training and skills recognition for reinforcing ironworkers.
Safety training within the company is ongoing and is presided over by special field and safety supervisors. Safety training sessions are held every month and site safety training is conducted every two weeks. We also work closely with the General Contractor to ensure compliance and promote safe work practices on site.
Performance Management Program
Being a client-centred organization inherently requires a performance-based, results-driven culture. LMS manages productivity levels, rewards performance and provides opportunities for growth. Personnel are aware of their duties through comprehensive position descriptions and annual performance reviews. The performance review process evaluates technical skills, as well as qualitative factors that LMS values as an organization; for example: we evaluate communication skills, cooperation, judgement/initiative, standard of work, quality of work, and dependability.
