Oct. 27, 2009 - LMS Group today announced a new partnership with the Wood Buffalo Métis Corporation to provide reinforcing steel supply, fabrication and installation in Alberta’s Wood Buffalo Region.
LMS Group founded the partnership, LMS & Wood Buffalo Métis Steel Ventures, based on the belief that the Métis people are integral stakeholders to the development of the region’s natural resources. This relationship, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding, leverages the strength and experience of LMS Reinforcing Steel Group with the local knowledge of the Wood Buffalo Métis Corporation.
With the combined capabilities of these two organizations behind it, LMS & Wood Buffalo Métis Steel Ventures will be able to provide clients with exceptional value and service in reinforcing steel supply and fabrication, uniquely tailored to the Wood Buffalo region.

LMS CELEBRATES THE OPENING OF ITS
OWN TRUCKING COMPANY
Providing timely and efficient shipping is integral to the success of LMS projects. To ensure the best and fastest service possible, LMS has opened its own trucking company to handle its Alberta and Saskatchewan shipments -- complete with two international tractor units, one 3 ton flat deck delivery truck, six trailers and three drivers.
In BC we are presently running 3 short haul tractors, 2 long haul tractors, one 3 ton flatbed, a super B and 20 trailers to service the needs of jobs within BC.
