LMS is a fully integrated construction supplier controlling its own steel supply, fabrication and installation on as many as 70 different projects at any given time.

Recent project include some of Vancouver’s highest-profile new developments: the Hotel Georgia – Hotel Reno and construction of a 47 story commercial/residential tower, West Pender Place, The Beasly, Sperling Tower (Luma), Richards Living, and the Jameson House Tower all ranging in size from 19 to 37 stories. In addition, LMS will soon commence work on ASPAC’s massive River Green waterfront community in Richmond, B.C. Recent completed projects include some very high-profile developments such as: The Fairmont Hotel, The Vancouver Convention Centre and the Shangri-La commercial/residential facility, the latter being Vancouver’s tallest building at 62 stories. For that project, a 50 person LMS crew installed rebar and participated in the single-biggest concrete pour ever preformed in a single day in B.C. LMS also presided over the Woodward’s redevelopment, supplying steel for that site’s residential complexes and Simon Fraser University’s School of the Contemporary Arts.

Farther afield, LMS has gained prominence in the infrastructure sector with two major projects: the massive, multi-year Sea to Sky Highway upgrade, and the Golden Ears Bridge construction in Langley. For the former project, LMS supplied steel for bridges, approaches and other highway components that required fortifying. For the latter, LMS was one of several companies contracted to place reinforced steel on the six-lane span across the Fraser River linking the Fraser Valley to Maple Ridge and the Tri-Cities.

Bow Tower, Calgary

In Alberta, LMS has started working on the majestic Bow Tower in Calgary. When complete, the Bow will be the largest and tallest office building in Western Canada. In addition the company is in the process of completing work on the Grand Prairie Aquatic Centre, supplying and installing the reinforcing steel. In addition to the two above projects LMS is working on The University of Calgary Student Residential Tower and the Waterfront Tower 1B/Lofts. We have also taken on the Water Treatment Plant in Red Deer, and we have recently been awarded the Transit Way Tunnel Project in Winnipeg.

Through solid expertise, strength in its workforce, and commitment to customer service, LMS is well positioned to undertake the fabrication, supply and installation of rebar for Western Canada’s future infrastructure upgrades and replacement.
