Safety and quality are paramount in every aspect of our business. LMS is proactively involved with safety authority programs throughout Western Canada. Our team also works closely with the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Association in California.
Certificate of Recognition (COR)
LMS is COR Certified by WorkSafe BC and Alberta Workers Compensation Board; very few construction trades are COR Certified. This designation is achieved by becoming a voluntary partner with WorkSafeBC and Alberta WCB. WorkSafeBC and Alberta WCB's voluntary Partners in Injury and Disability Prevention Program offers incentives to employers who create and adhere to health and safety management systems aimed at improving workplace safety and helping injured workers return to work in a safe and timely way.
Participating employers work with a Certifying Partner to meet the program's standards. After passing an audit, employers receive a Certificate of Recognition (COR) and become eligible to receive a rebate on WorkSafeBC/WCB premiums.
