LMS Reinforcing Steel Group Founders Earn Real Estate/Construction Entrepreneur of the Year Award

Vancouver, BC (October 10, 2008) - The LMS Reinforcing Steel Group is proud to announce that founders Ron McNeil and Ivan Harmatny are the recipients of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year (EOY) Award in the Real Estate/Construction category. This prestigious award was recently handed out at the EOY awards banquet and represents a tremendous achievement in the construction industry. The Entrepreneur of the Year Awards honour the spirit and contribution of entrepreneurs.

McNeil and Harmatny epitomize the true entrepreneur. Over the past 21 years, Lower Mainland Steel has matured from a company consisting of “two guys in a pick up truck” to one of Western Canada’s leading steel rebar supply, installation and fabrication companies with projected revenues of $160 million for 2008, and employing about 500 employees.
